Used as a reinforcing filler, it improves modulus, dimensional stability, and impact resistance — especially in thermoplastics, thermosets, and engineering compounds. Thanks to its acicular (needle-like) structure, wollastonite aligns during processing to enhance mechanical strength without significantly increasing density or hindering processability.
